Open to Life: How Jesus Through His Church Transforms Persons with Same-Sex Attraction (SSA)

Jesus redeems our sexuality from the ground up. He summons what is true and beautiful from a host of distortions. In Christ and His community, we can become who we are – men and women of increasing purity and clarity who manifest His creativity in our sexual humanity.

Join us as we hear from Andrew Comiskey and others on how your church can become “good news” for persons with SSA.

Over our time together, we shall provide a multi-faceted approach to helping persons with same-sex attraction discover chastity. That includes the wise support of pastors and surrounding faith community, a focused small group setting where one can work out blocks to a clear and robust identity, and how clinical counseling can assist in that process.

We will also address how family and friends can best support loved ones facing same-sex attraction. Our time will be highlighted by diverse stories of persons who have journeyed from ‘gay’-identified to Christ-centered. We will close with lunch over which we shall answer any questions you bring.
